THE RESEARCH

Research-Informed Approach

FocusTraining is grounded in established research on neurofeedback and cognitive training.

Over the years, neurofeedback-based attention training has been examined in controlled studies conducted in collaboration with academic and medical institutions. These studies, published in peer-reviewed journals, have reported improvements in attention, executive functioning, and behavioral outcomes in individuals with ADHD.

In these findings, individuals who participated in neurofeedback training showed stronger and more sustained improvements in attention compared to control groups. Improvements were observed in areas such as focus, executive functioning, and reduction of off-task behavior.

Evidence Across Settings

Research has also demonstrated that structured cognitive training can be effectively applied across different environments, including:

  • Schools
  • Clinical settings
  • Home environments

This flexibility highlights the potential of neurocognitive training to support real-life functioning when delivered consistently and with proper guidance.

Objective Measurement

In both research and practice, attention and behavior are often evaluated using a combination of tools.

These may include:

  • Standardized behavioral assessments
  • Performance-based attention tests
  • Computer-based tasks measuring response to visual and auditory stimuli

Such methods provide a more objective understanding of attention and cognitive performance.

Advances in Neurotechnology

Modern neurotechnology has made it possible to monitor attention-related signals in more accessible and user-friendly ways.

Wearable systems can now provide real-time feedback, allowing individuals to actively engage in improving their attention and self-regulation.

This interactive process supports learning through awareness and repetition.

Supporting Long-Term Cognitive Health

At FocusTraining, we integrate insights from research, technology, and practical application.

Our goal is to provide a structured, evidence-informed approach that supports:

  • Attention and executive functioning
  • Cognitive performance
  • Behavioral regulation
  • Long-term brain health

We support individuals with ADHD, as well as those experiencing cognitive changes, including Alzheimer’s, by focusing on skill development rather than short-term solutions.
