Our 11-year-old daughter Emma began using FocusTraining about six months ago.
She has been diagnosed with a non-verbal learning difficulty and has always struggled with maintaining focus. Over the years, we invested in various forms of academic support, trying to help her keep up with her peers.
We first heard about FocusTraining through a friend.
The idea of improving attention through neurofeedback and structured cognitive training caught our attention. After learning more, we felt this might be an opportunity we didn’t want to miss.
We decided to move forward—not just for our daughter, but also with the thought that it could support us as parents in our own attention and daily focus.
Emma adapted well to the program.
What stood out to us was that she didn’t need constant reminders to engage with the training.
She enjoyed the process, especially the immediate feedback, and took pride in her progress.
Over time, we began to hear feedback from her teachers:
One moment that meant a lot to us was when her teacher shared that Emma was the only student to confidently raise her hand and answer a question correctly after a reading activity.
That moment gave her a sense of accomplishment—and helped her connect her effort with her progress.
As a parent, I also noticed changes in myself.
I became more mindful, more intentional in daily tasks, and more aware of how attention affects everyday life.
Another aspect we truly value is the ongoing support.
The guidance has been responsive, consistent, and helpful throughout the process. Regular check-ins and support made the experience feel structured and supported—not something we had to navigate alone.
We understand that growth takes time, but we are encouraged by what we’ve seen so far.
FocusTraining has become a meaningful part of our routine, and we are looking forward to continuing this journey.
At FocusTraining, the goal is not just improvement in performance—but building confidence, awareness, and lasting skills.
